CSR's Quality Management System (QMS) has been certified to the international quality management standard ISO 9001 by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA). CSR's customer focus and business processes meet all the requirements of this international standard, providing proof of CSR's consistent level of quality and its commitment to continual improvement of business processes.
Both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 are based on a process model and have been developed around the eight core management principles:

- System approach to management
- Continual improvement
- Factual approach to decision making
- Mutually beneficial supplier relationships
OHSAS 18001 is also based on a similar model, with the health and safety of premises and operations at its core.
To attain certification, CSR demonstrated its understanding and application of these principles throughout all of its business processes.
