CSR US Social Responsibility: ION Mini-Urban Challenge
CSR made a donation to the Institute of Navigation (ION) Mini-Urban Challenge, an annual high school competition sponsored by ION and the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). The Mini-Urban Challenge was created to challenge high school students to design and operate a robotic, unmanned car built from a LEGO® MINDSTORMS® kit that can accurately navigate through a LEGO® city. Working with academic advisors and team mentors, the competition provides high school students experience in collaboration, problem solving, team building, and project and time management, and acts to inspire and attract students to the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
