CSR’s Lasse Bigum ran the Copenhagen Marathon for the benefit of World Wildlife Fund. We found this a good cause and were delighted to match fund him.
When he got his breath back, Lasse gave us this report:
“More than 11.000 people had joined Copenhagen Marathon 2012, and the
y were about to be treated to an unusually hot day. My goal was to finish in less than four hours, and I ran the first 21 km in 1:43, so I was in good time, initially. Shortly after fatigue and the heat set in. After a brief sit (don’t do that!) I managed to trot along and finish in 3:56.35. The heat was definitely unexpected but the race and the settings were great. The crowd was enthusiastic and cheered you on. I highly recommend joining in 2013.”
Congratulations Lasse!
