A number of CSR Israel’s highly motivated athletes put on their running shoes and, proudly wearing the company logo, recently took part in a 20 hour, 215 km group relay race.
Represented by two teams of eight, each runner ran a distance on average of almost 27kms. The countryside trail took them through the beautiful vistas of the Hula Valley, along the Jordan River, next to the Sea of Galilee and reached the finish line at a farming community in the area of Timrat.
Our guys came in at 10th and 20th place out of 33 competitors. This race was such a success that it was decided to establish the CSR Israel running team who now meet twice a week for a run on the beach near our office, in preparation for next year’s event.
