On Friday 28th September CSR took part in the Festival of Innovation Exhibition organised by the Northern Ireland Science Park in the new Titanic building under the famous Titanic Stairs.
The Festival was an opportunity for high tech companies in the Science Park to show off their products and technologies to each other and to the Northern Ireland community. Overall 22 companies took part in the exhibition.
The day was broken into two sections with visits in the morning from members of the Legislative Agency (MLA) from the Northern Ireland Assembly, Local government agency (InvestNI) and local university research centers such as ECIT, CSIT, and SARC from Queens University and University of Ulster. There were also distinguished guests from the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Irish Academy of engineering who were in town to attend the awards given to the most promising startup each year. The winner this year was MOF who have developed a cool technique for collecting harmful gasses.
The second part of the day saw flocks of local secondary school kids and their science teachers attending the event. They were all massively impressed with the CSR aptX enabled Beats by Dre wireless headphones
This first Festival of Innovation day was a major success and CSR were delighted to take part!
