BlueCore5-Multimedia is provided in a TFBGA (8 x 8 mm) lead-free package and is compliant with the RoHS directive.

The development kit includes Gerber PCB layout files for the example design, which measures just 39 x 56 x 14 mm, an extremely small size that gives manufacturers a lot of flexibility to create compact and interesting industrial designs.

Development kit

The BlueCore Player design is generic, and CSR's solution development system (SDS) can be purchased from the on-line shop (part number DEV-MP3-1A) for just $1250. It includes:

• Hardware example design with SD card loaded with music
• BlueTunes2 board and headphones to act as a Bluetooth headset, and also as a development kit to develop your ownBlueCore Player code on
• SDK for customisation of the HMI
• User guide, software release note and interoperability report
• Design files including Gerbers, schematic, etc
• Application code
