CSR's latest Bluetooth headset silicon with onchip Flash provides a radical new degree of freedom for ODMs, giving developers a single-chip solution with the flexibility to add custom features, and react rapidly to customer requests or specification changes, as well as new application opportunities. 

Called BlueVOX Flash, the device integrates CSR's market-leading Bluetooth 2.0+EDR radio and microcontroller solution, with an onchip CODEC and 6 Mbits of Flash memory. The IC also includes numerous other features that minimise the electronic bill of materials, including a switched-mode voltage regulator and battery charging circuitry.

Available in an 8x8 mm TFBGA package, BlueVOX Flash is a truly economic solution to a range of emerging market requirements including:
