Members may enjoy various benefits depending on the level of participation they wish to pursue. These benefits include, but are not limited to :

Joint Marketing

  • Tradeshow participation:
    Some members may receive space at tradeshows in either the CSR booth or in Third-Party Network Competence Centers. In addition, member literature may be disseminated in the CSR booth at most shows.
  • Online resources:
    CSR's online Partner Resource Catalog serves as an important resource to assist CSR customers in identifying solutions offered by members. Links and e-mail addresses are provided to member sites, as well as an interactive product locator to match up customers with member solutions. CSR will also permit 3rd-party design partners to promote themselves by showing existing designs (using CSR chips) on our web site, providing the end-customer has no objection. This will allow CSR customers to have a better understanding of our partners' experience.
  • Joint press releases:
    CSR may jointly announce its alliances with new partners. CSR may also work together with partners on technical articles, white papers, and other important announcements as the relationship develops.
  • Media relations:
    Maximise your media relations efforts by contacting CSR for a quote which may be included in your important announcements to the press.
  • Product exposure:
    Prospective customers can look for information on your products and services by viewing our web site, printed resource guides and press releases .
  • Marketing Campaigns:
    Approved partners may be included in CSR customer marketing campaigns.

Technical resource

  • Third party extranet site:
    Members are provided access to their very own extranet web site, www.csrsupport.com . This is the place for more information on CSR products and services as well as program benefit information and special offers.
  • Reference designs:
    CSR offers and extensive range of reference designs to enable customers to quickly get to market. Component partners may be included in CSR Reference Designs, these reference designs are made available to the CSR customer base, promoted through the CSR salesforce and distribution network.
  • Input into design process:
    Membership provides you the opportunity to provide recommendations on CSR reference or turnkey designs and tool features.
  • Technical support:
    The Third Party Network provides technical support for CSR product implementation.
  • Training opportunities:
    Partners are given discounts to scheduled CSR training events.

Business

  • Customer referrals:
    CSR will be able to recommend OEM customers third party partners with proven track records.
  • E-mail and direct mail updates:
    Look for regular priviliged and public e-mail and direct mail communications regarding events and opportunities.
  • Access to information:
    Get early, non-public information concerning CSR's product and technology plans (including roadmaps). This information will assist members who wish to be the first to introduce products that are compatible with CSR's latest technology.
  • Samples:
    CSR will also give new product sample priority to its Partners.
  • Use of Partners of the CSR Bluetooth Developers Program mark:
    Exhibit your relationship with CSR on items such as brochures, at tradeshows or in advertising. Usage of the mark enables you to receive certain discounts and special offers throughout the year. The use of this mark is strictly limited to those partners with prior permission from CSR.
  • Conferences:
    Partners are invited to CSR sales and applications conferences in order to promote their products and services to our internal sales channels.
  • Reviews:
    CSR hold regular reviews with all partners in order to ensure business plans are met.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This describes CSR's current plans and policies. CSR may change or end the program, and/or may choose to disengage from any member, at any time and at CSR's sole discretion, without prior notice and without any liability to the member. A written agreement between CSR and the member will be required. Third Party Partners must sign a Development Partner Agreement, purchase a Development Kit and start active design work by committing to either reference design activity or through a live customer project. CSR determines, in its sole discretion, conformance to the defined membership criteria.
