CSR will always do the very best it can to support those developing BlueCore applications. To this end it has developed the Casira evaluation and development tool. Casira allows developers to quickly and easily create differentiating applications that are not already covered by CSR’s comprehensive range of example designs or ready-programmed BlueCore products. The purchase of Casira grants users access to the BlueCore design support and reference designs.

Supplied with BlueSuite, a family of software utilities including:
- Drivers to communicate with BlueCore™ at HCI or RFCOMM levels, supporting all Bluetooth® transport layers (UART/H4, USB/H2, SDIO, 3WU) plus CSR's own BCSP and H4DS protocols. Source code is provided for all except the SDIO device driver.
- Drivers for CSR's USB<>SPI converter.
- TrueTest - a Production Test framework, compatible with LabView, VB, .NET and Delphi
- BlueTest - a GUI which puts BlueCore into test modes for radio development and qualification (with source code)
- BlueFlash/BlueFlashCmd - a GUI and CLI which load firmware stacks onto the BlueCore over the SPI interface
- DFUWizard - for upgrading firmware via UART or USB via BCSP, H4 or USB (with source code)
- BTCLI/RFCLI - command line interfaces to BlueCore, running over all Bluetooth® transport layers (with source code)
- PSTool/pscli - a GUI and CLI which allows programming of BlueCore's persistent store values over SPI, BCSP, H4 or USB
- DFUTools - create DFU (device firmware upgrade) files for firmware upgrade over USB/UART interfaces
- E2Util/E2Write - CLI which configure and program I2C EEPROMs attached to BlueCore.
- BCFMRadio/BCFMCli - a GUI and CLI which control BC5-FM's FM receiver (with source code)
- HostTransports - implementations of all Bluetooth® transport layers (UART/H4, USB/H2, SDIO, 3WU) plus CSR's own BCSP and H4DS protocols running on a PC, and used by most applications in BlueSuite (with source code)
BlueSuite runs on Windows XP and Vista and can be compiled for most popular versions of Windows Mobile.
