Description

SupraFRC^® 501 high performance display processor is a self-contained Frame Rate Converter for flat panel TV applications.

LCD technology magnifies motion blur and movie judder. SupraFRC^® 501 processor increases the display frame rate, improving the image’s sharpness and rendering smoother motion for an improved viewer experience.

The SupraFRC^® 501 processor is designed to seamlessly enable the use of high refresh rate panels in all TV designs and to deliver a noticeably higher image fidelity.

The SupraFRC^® 501 processor leverages Zoran’s portfolio of breakthrough algorithms, including the award-winning object-based technology, delivering unprecedented image quality for any content type.

The SupraFRC^® 501 processor performs advanced Frame Rate Conversion (FRC) and accurately creates missing intermediate frames from 24Hz film content and 50/60Hz video content to higher frame rates up to 100/120/240Hz.

The patented breakthrough SupraFRC^® 501 Frame Rate Converter outperforms conventional Motion Estimation Motion Compensation (MEMC) FRC algorithms while consuming less power. It comes in a smaller package and uses less memory than conventional MEMC technologies.
