The MT8515 and MT8535 are sophisticated demodulator ICs for digital terrestrial (ATSC 8-VSB) signals. The MT8515 and MT8535 are engineered to build on MicroTunes® powerful and efficient demodulation algorithms and adaptive signal tracking architectures to deliver superior receiver performance. These demods are designed to provide best-in-class ATSC 8-VSB demodulation in single, low-cost and low-power chips ideal for terrestrial DTV front ends.
The MT8535’s small size and low power make it well suited for any system – but especially low power, green and portable devices designed to receive information from DTV broadcasts including standalone SDTV or HDTV sets, set-top boxes, and PC peripheral appliances.
The MT8515’s pin-out makes is fully compatible with the members of the AU8515 / AU852x family of ATSC demodulators. This provides the opportunity to make existing designs greener and more power optimised!
