CSR's Quality Management System (QMS) has been certified to the international Quality Management Standard ISO 9001 by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA). CSR's customer focus and business processes meet all the requirements of this international standard, providing proof of CSR's consistent level of quality and its commitment to continual improvement of business processes.

CSR recognises the importance of social, environmental and ethical (SEE) matters across all of its worldwide offices.
CSR's UK EMS (Environmental Management System) is used to provide a framework for the delivery of measures to minimise our impact on the environment. In recognition of commitment to this, CSR's EMS has been certified to the international standard ISO 14001 by LRQA.

CSR's UK H&S (Health and Safety) Management system is used to provide a structure in support of safe and healthy work environments and processes. In recognition of this commitment CSR's Cambridge locations have been certified to the Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems Specification OHSAS 18001:1999 by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).

Both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 are based on a process model and have been developed around the eight core management principles:

- involvement of people
- process approach
- system approach to management
- continual improvement
- factual approach to decision making
- mutually beneficial supplier relationships
To attain certification, CSR demonstrated its understanding and application of these principles throughout all of its business processes.
