A breakthrough design for wireless
internet radio

As broadband connections continue to increase, internet radio is becoming a huge global market opportunity. Already, one in four of the USA's population listen regularly to internet radio.

CSR has created a radical new hardware and software solution for building Wi-Fi connected internet radio products - compared with today's PC-based radios and table-top 'kitchen radio' products.

Called RadioPro, the design has an eBOM costing less than $15, a tiny form factor and amazingly low power consumption. The design makes a new category of portable battery-powered radios possible.  It also changes the economics of building table-top products, or of adding internet radio capability onto existing product categories such as MP3 players, satellite radios and hi-fi systems.

CSR's hardware design comes complete with all software required, including all drivers, streaming protocols and CODECs, and a user interface that works with the vTuner internet radio portal.

RadioPro provides a means of getting to market extremely rapidly.  Despite the low cost of the design, the software can also be updated in the field, over the air -  providing the potential for long time-in-market and ongoing revenues as well.
