UniVox Mobile

CSR has developed a ready to apply cellphone subsystem incorporating Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and the software building blocks necessary to bring a flexible dual mode (cellular plus Wi-Fi) handset to market. Called UniVox Mobile, the subsystem completely resolves the power consumption problems associated with many previous Wi-Fi handset designs - as well as delivering new flexibility through genuinely coexistent Bluetooth.

Proven and ready to apply, this integrated hardware/software bundle provides a rapid solution for creating standard, SIP-based products that satisfy the spiralling demand for Wi-Fi phones - significantly reducing time to market.

The UniVox Mobile wireless subsystem is available standalone, for users to integrate themselves into their mobile phone design. CSR is working with cellular partners to provide UniVox Mobile pre-integrated into a cellphone reference design.
